Stephanie Taylor is a versatile, highly creative composer and multi-instrumentalist whose work has attracted high-profile clients in TV and film, including BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky, and in 2025 was selected as part of the BAFTA Breakthrough cohort, a programme celebrating emerging creative talent.

Stephanie is best known for her work on ITV’s hit drama Karen Pirie (seasons 1 & 2), a 3×120’ series directed by Gareth Bryn (Line of Duty, The Gathering) and adapted from the best-selling novels by Val McDermid. Continuing her work in high-profile television, she is currently composing the score for a BBC documentary presented by Stacey Dooley, investigating how social media has become a go-to for health advice.

Her recent credits include BBC ONE documentary ‘The Search For Nicola Bulley’ and Channel 4’s ‘Miriam: Death of a Reality Star’. Other notable credits of hers are 3×90’ ITV drama ‘The Hunt for Raoul Moat’ from World Productions (Bodyguard, Vigil), and Sky Original series ‘Arctic from Above’.
