Karen Pirie – Season 2 Now Released

KAREN PIRIE Season 2 was broadcast on ITV on 20 July 2025 and is now available to US audiences via BritBox, with music composed by Stephanie.

The second season of the acclaimed drama, based on the novels by Val McDermid, continues to follow Detective Inspector Karen Pirie as she investigates complex and emotionally charged cold cases. Expanding on the tone and world established in the first season, the new episodes deepen the series’ psychological and dramatic scope.

Stephanie composed the original score for Season 2, crafting music that supports the evolving narrative while enhancing the emotional depth and atmosphere of the series.
